Unforgettable experience having a true heated pool all to ourselves, we look forward to returning and seeing more charac Positive: Loved Housekeeper Helene and being greeted by Natasha who gave us history of the property and helped us find workshops and places to eat. Brand new home so everything was working well. And pristine in cleanliness. The pool and house is constantly being serviced and you can request less cleaning if you need privacy. We loved having the heated pool all to ourselves. We had an incredible little gathering of close friends for Thanksgiving and we mainly hung out around the dining/kitchen table. The roof top is amazing and the glass roof and TV bookshelves are a nice design touch. While we hardly used the fire pit and grilling areas perhaps due to the winter months and it just was easier to gather near the pool. I loved the trees and fountains on the property. I liked the location Monday through Friday. But the weekends were noisy due to wedding venue next door. So we didn’t sleep much. Luckily we extended our stay. And could enjoy 2 weekends and an entire week in between. If there had been more days open I would have stayed even longer. Negative: The bed sheets are polyester. I had to buy my own cotton sheets. The kitchen didn’t have baking sheets or baking dishes so it was very hard to use the oven. We had to purchase food and heat it up with foil we purcahsed. Impossible to make casseroles, baked chicken etc. We couldn’t cook what we wanted. The pots and pans are Teflon. I think for a luxury home that’s the most expensive in San Miguel they need to get a few things up graded and maybe in time the home will. The home is brand new and I think it has a lot of potential to be the best. They were very nice and tried hard to please. They brought an ice maker over after they saw we bought ice trays to make ice for Thanksgiving. The whole home doesn’t have a water filter system but there is one for the drinking water in the kitchen and you can fill up the glass jugs. The home is big but sort of spread out. It unique. It may not be for everyone’s taste. I would go back during a quieter time of the year or week and the house would be good to share with family and friends as all rooms are en suite. If you want to sleep, relax: the weekends are very noisy. As is the case with the center.
